TO THE ACHIEVE PROGRAM
Since 1978, The Achieve Program has successfully provided academic support services to SIUC students with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, and autism spectrum disorders. Our staff is comprised of professionals who have extensive experience working with college level students.
Achieve Program students share the same rich educational environment and opportunities as other SIUC students. Similarly, Achieve Program students are required to meet the same academic requirements for graduation as other SIUC students. Each student is assigned to a case manager who provides close supervision on a weekly basis and who monitors the student's academic progress regularly. Our tutoring services cover most undergraduate classes across all majors ranging from freshman to senior level courses. Tutors are available daily in our Student Resource Lab, or by appointment. Other services include providing personalized notetakers and test proctoring services. Organizational and time management assistance are also key elements of our program.
